How to Apply for a Student Visa in Spain

If you want to study in Spain, what do you have to do?
First: Contact the admissions department of the school where you want to study.
Second: Sumit a formal application.
If you are accepted, the school will issue a letter of enrollment / acceptance of you as a student.
Third: Request a visa
Obtaining a Student Visa
The request must be made personally by you.
The procedure is done in the SPANISH CONSULATE IN THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN.
The resolution granting the Visa by the Spanish Foreign Ministry takes at least 1 month after the request.
The entry requirements into Spain are:
- Valid passport proving your identity
- Visa
- Documentation of enrollment or admission to an educational institution.
- Health requirements through the submission of health certificate, or performing a medical examination on your arrival.
- Proof of financial support for your living during your stay in Spain and for the return to your country of origin or other countries. For your support, you must certify an amount in euros of 10% of the minimum gross interprofessional salary, or the equivalent in your currency, multiplied by the number of days you intend to stay in Spain. For your return, you must certify that you have a nontrasferable transport ticket.
Foreign student card:
If your student residence is going be longer than six months, you must apply for a foreign student card within one month of your entry into Spain.
